Roof Care for Seattle’s Rainy Season

Leaves, needles and moss can hold moisture and obstruct drainage. A maintenance assessment helps identify debris buildup, damaged shingles and flashing concerns before you decide which work to approve.

Tell us about leaks, overflowing gutters, visible moss or a roof that has not been checked recently. We review the roofing material, condition, pitch and access to recommend an appropriate scope.

Discuss the Work Your Property Needs

Roof and Flashing Review

We can assess shingles, roof penetrations, flashing and visible drainage concerns. Existing damage or an active leak may need a separate repair assessment.

Moss and Debris Removal

The cleaning approach must suit the roofing material and its manufacturer’s care instructions. Asphalt shingles should not be pressure washed. Any treatment, cleanup and follow-up requirements belong in the written scope.

Gutter and Downspout Clearing

Discuss leaves, needles and drainage blockages, along with any damaged gutters or downspouts. Confirm the clearing and repair work included in your estimate.

Weather and Safe Access Shape the Schedule

Work depends on roof condition, safe access, weather and crew availability. Wet, icy or windy conditions can require a different work window. Any treatment must follow the selected product’s application conditions; we do not promise immediate results or a fixed extension of roof life.

Roof Maintenance FAQ
Your written proposal identifies the inspections, moss or debris removal, gutter clearing, treatment and cleanup appropriate for your property. Existing damage may need a separate repair scope.
The recommended schedule depends on roof material, condition, tree cover and drainage. Discuss follow-up visits after the initial assessment; no fixed number of annual visits is included unless stated in your accepted proposal.
Maintenance can help identify developing issues. Follow the selected roofing material’s care instructions and warranty requirements. It does not guarantee coverage or a particular roof lifespan.
There is a $400 minimum service charge. We confirm the scope and total before work begins. Future-date estimate appointments are free; an available same-day estimate appointment carries a separate $100 priority fee.
We explain the observed concerns and propose any separate repair work for your approval. A maintenance request does not authorize additional work.
